About this course

Mobile development brings constraints web development does not: limited screen space, touch input, unreliable connectivity, battery, and app store review. This course focuses on those constraints, because they shape the design more than the choice of framework does.

Rather than tying everything to one toolkit, the material stays at the level of concepts that transfer, then points at the specific technologies Anvi works with for implementation detail.

Offline behaviour and secure local storage get significant attention, since these are where mobile projects most often run into trouble late.
